Fantastic experience at Ego as always - the atmosphere is gorgeous, very warm and cosy with a classy feel. Would recommend for any occasion! Plenty of comfortable inside and outside seating. Service is always great, friendly and no delays to food or drinks. Excellent choice from the menu from appetisers and starters right through to after dinner coffee. Food is absolutely delicious!
We visited at an extremely busy time given it was Mother’s Day, but were nevertheless greeted warmly by Evie who seated us quickly. This gratitude was present throughout our stay, both with our server Grace and bartender Will. The food was excellent to round off the day, we will definitely visit again in the near future!
Consistently good quality food, service and atmosphere. It was surprisingly busy when we visited on a Tuesday lunchtime. We had pizza's and loved them, thin crispy bases done in a pizza oven. My partner had goats cheese and red oinion chutney which was delicious and I chose to make up my own pizza which was; mushrooms, artichoke and black olives, which was also delicious. They have a special lunchtime menu for those who don't want to eat a full meal.
We came for a family lunch and had a very good time. The staff were very welcoming and friendly! We had our pooch on tow and she was also very welcomed! They had some doggie treats which she enjoyed very much. There were a lot of choices on each course and it suited our family of different tastebuds! The food was fresh and delicious. There were a few I would have chosen! So will come back to try the other dishes!!
A great night at EGO for all the reasons stated. Food: A wide variety on offer, my wife and I had the mixed kebab, superb. Service: Exceptional and to a person, delivered with professionalism. For example, we were informed that there was a delay with one of our party's kebab orders and that whilst we had to wait a complmentary bread, oil and olive dish would be delivered to each of us by way of apology. Atmosphere: Wonderful, a very well decorated warm and inviting atmosphere for a family gathering at a difficult time and after a stressful day visiting an elderly, very poorly relative. Thanks to everyone at EGO, I can honestly say as I stay and eat all over the UK in my job role, you are truly very good at what you do.
Attended 60th birthday celebrations for a midweek evening meal. A wonderful place. Very friendly staff, homely atmosphere with live entertainment. The restaurant was busy despite it being mid week, highlighting it's popularity. Food was perfectly cooked and well presented...we dressed our own table with flowers and balloons and were allowed to take our own birthday cake , which were allowed to eat as dessert. Staff were accommodating right the way through the evening. I highly recommend Fox Club to anyone who has not been.
Cracking Wednesday evening deal atm. 30 for 2 with 2 lovely course choices & 10 for a bottle of house wine! Big portions & great food...absolutely stuffed! X
Lovely food and great value. We had the 3 courses for 2 people for 40 and we were not disappointed.
